For larger moves, we will send an estimator to your home or office to carefully assess scope of work and provide you with a detailed and accurate quotation. On-site estimate visits allow us to prepare for your move, providing adequate resources to ensure a job is completed within allotted time frame and budget.
Local moves are billed by the hour and the final bill will be based on the actual time it took to complete a given job. We like keeping our payment structure as simple as possible. There will not be any additional fees, unless discussed in advance, agreed upon and outlined in the booking confirmation sent to you prior to the move. Transparency, simplicity, no hidden fees! After first 2 hours (minimum service time), you will be billed in 15-minute increments. You will pay simply for the amount of time we spend on your move. Total fee is comprised of the actual Service Time and a one-time fixed Travel Time fee. The Service time starts when we arrive to your “from” location and ends when we unload the last item at your “to” location. We do not have “minimum hours” requirement. We will round up Service Time in 15-minute increments.

Office moving

Our office relocation specialist will visit your premises to better understand the scope of work. On site visits prior to the move allow us to adequately prepare for your move providing all the necessary resources in order to complete the job within allotted time frame and budget.
Planning
After carefully assessing the scope of work, you will receive a Detailed Relocation Plan outlining scope of work, schedule, budget, roles and responsibilities of all parties involved, as well as resources allocated including number of movers/packers, number of trucks, etc.
Sparta moving consultant will foresee any potential problems that may arise during the move and will take necessary measures to avoid those. Our packing crews use industry standard packing materials to protect your valuables, including specialized cartons, recyclable packing paper, bubble wrap, micro foam, plastic shrink wrap, and reusable quilted moving pads (blankets). Fragile items such as stained glass windows, art work, marble and glass tabletops, and chandeliers may require the special care and attention that can only be provided by custom wood crating.

Claims Policy
Damage Claims shall be submitted via email to info@spartamovers.com. Photos showing damages and a description of how those may have occurred shall also be provided. Sparta Movers will then review everything and a claim resolution will be issued within 5 business days. Unless payment for the services is received in full, Sparta Movers is not required to answer or process a claim. It is illegal to deduct the money from the final bill to compensate oneself in the event of damage.
