Our packing crews use industry standard packing materials to protect your valuables. Specialized cartons, recyclable packing paper, bubble wrap, micro foam, plastic shrink wrap, and reusable quilted moving pads (blankets). Fragile speciality items such as stained glass windows, art work, marble, glass tabletops, and chandeliers may require the special care and attention that can only be provided by custom wood crating.

I called Sparta for same day move and I had movers at my door an hour later. Dominic and Fazu (sp?) were fantastic. My moving day was very stressful and I would have been stressed to tears if I didn’t have their help. They were early and speedy, they won’t waste your time. When the first tries at moving my ridiculous IKEA furniture up stairs were tricky, instead of trying to make it fit and scratching my walls they quickly disassembled everything and took it up piece by piece, and IKEA furniture sucks to take apart and reassemble. Glad I had them instead of bugging poor family members.

Excellent! There are no other words to describe their manner and conduct. We Had an awful experience with our previous movers (not sparta) and so we were hesitant to do it again. But Slava (I think he's the owner) came to our home to give us a quote, took the time to explain the process, what to expect, and how to prepare. This in my opinion was above and beyond.They sent reminders to us to confirm they were coming. We also had packing services and omg they finished an hour before expected with less material and thus we were billed for less than quoted! The Packers were professional and polite and the movers as much so! Polite, knowledgeable, and funny. I will be recommending them to our realtor. Ps. Cross posted on other sites!

It was incredibly easy to get a quote online and someone contacted me the very same day to confirm the details of my moving needs. Pricing is fair and reasonable, service is top-notch.Our mighty movers, Ken and Fazio, showed up in the timeframe promised and got to work quickly. Both of them were courteous and professional throughout the process. Oh my goodness! These movers are absolutely fabulous! I was very skeptical at first having never hired movers before, but these guys totally did a great job! We had the privilege of getting two supervisors Artur and Talvir. They were so very respectful, personal, and helpful. They even took the time to answer our "silly" questions and put our minds at ease that they would do their best to help us. We were on a tight budget and man they hustled the entire time to get everything we owned in our new place in the time frame. Truly would recommend these people to anyone. Definitely would hire again if needed. Edit... Not only did they finish within our time frame, but they also helped us empty our vehicles as well! They truly are the best! So glad we hired them!

Had Sparta do my move this weekend, and to be honest there are not enough stars, they are a 10 Star worthy moving company. Not only did they do my move quickly, they are masters of figuring out moving problems, I would have bet a million dollars they wouldn't get our king sized bed frame and mattress up my stairs in my new house, but those three gentleman worked together to get it done. Same goes for the large sectional that went downstairs, super Stars. I signed when they started, I signed when they finished, they made our moving day stress free, fast, and easy. Even when parking was terrible, they figured it out quickly. If you are not booking Sparta Movers for your next move, you are not getting the 10 Star service you deserve. Thank you so much!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Slava and his team were excellent From the first day that I booked to the days leading up to the move, Slava was in constant communication with me.I asked to push back my residential move a few days before the deep freeze in Calgary and he was able to accommodate me despite their busy schedule.This 3 man crew were very friendly, courteous and professional.I recently referred Sparta Movers to another friend and they just completed her move and she had an excellent experience with them Great job!!!!

Exemplary Service at reasonable costs.My experience with Sparta Movers has been a pleasant and worthwhile one. I required office movers to come in and do the heavy lifting for us, and I decided to give Sparta Movers a try. They came in well prepared, with optimistic and brilliant attitudes, ready to take on the job. Each one of the employees at Sparta demonstrated a high level of customer service and courtesy for our belongings. On my move, supervisor Artur was respectful, professional and kept his employees motivated and engaged throughout the duration. Gurp, another supervisor I presume through his leadership and control, was a great conversationalist and a brilliant young man. Overall I am very satisfied and will definitely recommend to friends!

I was a pain-in-the-butt customer. I know that. I asked for quotes from 10 different companies to move a very specific list of items. The quotes I got back varied wildly, some doubling others. I picked 3 companies who had better responses than the others (not necessarily cheaper, but seemingly more interested in winning my business) and continued pressing for more accurate quotes. I found that Sparta went above and beyond to earn my business and I was satisfied with the final quote. The actual move was like clock-work, even finishing earlier and further reducing the costs of the service. The guys were super friendly, hard working and careful, and even moved a couple of items that unexpectedly came up without even a hint of complaint. A great experience overall. I'd highly recommend Sparta for your moving needs.

It's hard to write a positive review if you're giving 5 stars because will think there must be some ulterior motive. But we used Sparta and they were great. Actually we had 3 hard workig fellows who woud happily pause holding huge loads and ask where we would like them placed. You'd think they were moving giant Faberge eggs they were so careful. Nothing got scratched dropped dented or anything. The guys never took a break and actually finished ahead of schedule and I paid less than the estimate. I recommended them to family who were equally pleased with the service. Having previously experienced a bad move this was a happy change. We wil look forward to using them again. They are cheerful, and seem to genuinely happy to be t work. They actually treated our possessions as if they were there own. Use these movers.

We recently hired Sparta Movers (2 movers, 1 truck) after a friend had recommended them to us, and we were really happy with the services from both the crew and the admin team. The crew (Ahmad, and the driver - I'm sorry I can't remember his name) were professional, arrived on time, and nothing was damaged in the end. We would definitely recommend Sparta to anyone looking for professional movers!In fact, I had requested quotes from 4 moving companies (all had over 4.5 stars on Google reviews and at least an A on BBB ratings), and not only did Sparta beat all the other competitors in terms of pricing, but they also provided lots of information up front regarding the move, so that there were no surprises from them when it came on moving day. Great experience using Sparta Movers. After a referral from a friend at work, I decided to use Sparta as the company to move us. From the first email, everything was as professional as you could ask for. On the day of the move, i received a call from the workers and they advised me that they were doing truck checks and once that was completed they would make their way to our house. They were right on time, looked over all of our belongings and then read our contract out to us, showed it to us and then had us sign it. The moment that was done, they got to work and I couldn't be more impressed. The guys had our stuff in the truck so well stacked that every inch of the truck was used and all of our things fit. To deliver to our new house the truck had to be on a two lane undivided highway and during that trip a car tried to make a pass of 6 other vehicles causing the moving truck to partially hit the ditch. They handled the situation very well. Upon arrival we checked for any damage and if anything had shifted. To our surprise, we lost one tequila bottle through it all. And we aren't even sure if that happened during the transit. Everything else stayed in place and was unharmed. The guys had our house of 3 bedroom and 2 levels loaded and unloaded in 5 hours. Well worth it and cannot give these guys enough praise. The price is very comparable to all other companies and I think you need to look beyond price. Look at quality of work. Three men and a big truck at a very reasonable price. They were on time and were very polite and professional. Impressed with how they shrink wrapped all the dresser drawers and provided mattress covers also. Only one sad face.... the quote said 5 complimentary wardrobe boxes and they only had 2 that they could give me. I had all my stuff moved into a self storage locker which the movers did exceptionally well to get it to fit. All three men worked well together. I would most definitely refer Sparta movers to anyone who needs a moving company. Will be using their services again in 3 short months. Thank you.

Sparta Movers did a great job for us. Cold weather did not stop them. They are experienced and professional. They sent an estimator to see us (without charge, without commitment) to calculate roughly the length of our move which helped us to calculate our budget and made our decision easier.They know how to solve problems fast, and efficient, even in - 40° they manage to move us effectively. Taking into count that the roads were difficult to drive on, the traffic jams and of course the freezing weather, they did everything to make the move happened.Thank you Sparta Movers! Fantastic service. The movers treated my stuff with care and were definitely pros. They used blankets, tape and shrink wrap to protect my furniture, which is something not typically done in YYC unless you're booking a long haul move. The security guard that attended to the door commented to me that in the hundreds of moves that he'd supervised to date, these were the best that he'd seen. Nothing was damaged. They were careful, efficient, and accommodated my special requests. Booking was a breeze (I loved the online booking tool, though I did have to follow up with a call), reminders sent, courtesy calls made the morning of to tell me their ETA. Top notch experience. I will definitely use them again.

These guys were excellent. Two young fellas showed up promptly, moved my girlfriend's stuff into the truck, then drove to my place and loaded my stuff up fast and efficient. For moving from two places into one, involving elevators, they were very fast and all-in-all, took 3 1/2 hours. The prices were very fair. No "three hour minimum" payment crap. Only damage we could see was a small little nick on the back of my IKEA bed. But I didn't care because it was IKEA. They didn't mull about or take breaks.Definitely going with these guys again if we ever move. Fantastic experience.
